The Prix Ars Electronica competition was conducted for the 16th time in 2002 in Computer Animation / Visual Effects, Interactive Art, Digital Musics, Net Vision / Net Excellence and cybergeneration – u19 freestyle computing. 1,373 artists from 80 countries entered a total of 2,356 works.
