Internet Courses for Adults Over 50

 

It’s time to take that first big step into the fascinating world of the Internet! The Ars Electronica Center is offering Internet courses especially designed for participants over age 50.

Introduction to the Internet – Part I will get you started with the basics of how to use the Internet. This practice-oriented course is aimed at computer novices age 50 and up who want to get familiar with this new medium.

Communication in the World Wide Web will be the focus of Introduction to the Internet – Part II. This course for intermediate-level users will provide a more detailed explanation of the most common forms of communication.

Introduction to the Internet – Part III deals primarily with security and is designed for more advanced users. Here, you’ll learn the best ways to protect your computer from the dangers lurking online. Once you’ve finished this course, you’ll have no problem doing your banking at home via computer.

Each respective four-hour course will be offered from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M. (coffee break included) on the dates listed below. The tuition for each course is
