Science Communication
The Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, the Arts and Culture, Ars Electronica and the Science Center Network jointly held the "Science Communication – Science & School" conference.
The conference sought innovative, contemporary ways to impart knowledge about science. Experts presented projects developed collaboratively by R&D facilities, educational institutions, museums, schools and national networks. Representatives of two initiatives—the Science Center Network and IMST–Innovations Make Schools Top—offered insights into possibilities of opening up a successful dialog between science and society, and generating enthusiasm for science and scientific research.
This EU-subsidized, one-day conference in the Ars Electronica Center was one of several events held throughout Austria to mark the end of "Discovery Days." It was organized jointly with the Science Center Network.
