Marcus Schmickler on the Digital Musics Jury
The composer Marcus Schmickler (D) aka Pluramon or Wabi Sabi is a new face in the Prix-Jury. In his music which could be described as "contemporary electronic music", he seeks the confrontation with modern classical composers.

Marcus Schmickler has studied with J. Fritsch and H. U. Humpert in Cologne. His works in contemporary electronic music file under such names as Wabi Sabi, Sator Rotas, or his most recent work "Param".

His works also feature collaborations as performer and producer with or for a heterogenous range of musicians from Thomas Lehn, Mimeo, Georg Odijk , Jan Werner, Keith Rowe, Oswald Wiener (Selten gehörte Musik) and Thomas Brinkmann to David Behrmann, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Julee Cruise and Stephen Galloway.
