Ars Electronica Festival – Installations
In addition to the exhibitions at the Ars Electronica Center, the O.K Center for Contemporary Art, the Lentos Museum and the Brucknerhaus, a number of other astounding installations await festival visitors at other Linz venues.

In “Sensory Circus” by Time’s Up (A), visitors can reconfigure an installation’s spatial situation through their own active physical involvement. Specially designed interfaces enable any visitor to create and manipulate the audiovisual environment, whereby the installation reacts in real time to the actions of members of the public.

For “Push/Pull,” Edwin van der Heide (NL) and Marnix de Nijs (NL) created two round air-pillow objects that can be moved at two spatially separated locations through the interaction of visitors. But, at the same time, the objects also react to each other and repeat the movements already carried out.
