Child Care during the Ars Electronica Festival
"bin bei Omi" (I'm at Granny's House!) offers German- and English-speaking festivalgoers the opportunity to arrange competent,
professional childcare for their youngsters age 4-12.
The director of the "bin bei Omi" daycare center is Beate Weissengruber,
a college-trained and state-certified educator. The facility is located on Taubenmarkt, which is right in downtown Linz, only a
five-minute walk from the Ars Electronica Center and the Brucknerhaus.
Drop-off and pick-up times are flexible.
You can also arrange for your child to remain at "bin bei Omi" until the conclusion of
a concert in the Brucknerhaus. Care costs 6 euros/hour on a one-time basis and 5 euros/hour for multiple sessions. You can drop of your child directly at "bin bei Omi" Site plan or register your child on very short notice at the Infodesk in the Brucknerhaus; he/she will then be picked up by a "bin bei Omi" caregiver.
