“Bouleuterion of Miletus” is an early example of the reconstruction of Greek architectural masterpieces in the form of three-dimensional computer models.
“Bouleuterion of Miletus” is a project of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, whose mission is to produce 3-D models of important works of ancient Greek architecture. In this phase, the entire ancient port city of Miletus was to be digitally reconstructed to serve as the basis for a large-scale educational project. The CAD model was prepared in Athens and transferred to Linz where it was processed for interactive display in the Ars Electronica Center’s CAVE.
