How does a child grow up under conditions that neurological scientists
would consider ideal? The story of André Stern (FR) provides answers. Stern, born in 1971, is a musician, composer, master guitarmaker, journalist and author. His parents decided not to send him to school. His speech promises to be an undogmatic contribution to the debate on education going on throughout Europe, and neither a how-to guide for would-be nonconformists nor a collection of patent remedies.
