Ein BarCamp ist eine Konferenz ohne feste Themen, erstmals 2005 in San Francisco erfolgreich ausprobiert. Teilnehmen können alle, die etwa zu sagen haben, sich austauschen, diskutieren und voneinander lernen wollen. Bei der Sessionplanung am Beginn des BarCamps kann wer immer möchte, sein/ihr Thema vorschlagen – sei es nun ein Vortrag, eine Diskussionsrunde oder ein Workshop.

A BarCamp is a conference with no preset topic. Participation is open to all who are interested in engaging in a process of mutual exchange, discussing things with others and learning from them. At the planning session at the beginning of the BarCamp, everyone can present their topics. Then, there’ll be a vote to establish the day’s agenda.
