Highlights of Digital Media Art! Opening of the CyberArts exhibition in the OÖ Kulturquartier. Since 1998 the OK in the OÖ Kulturquartier has presented the prizewinning art works of the Prix Ars Electronica, the most renowned competition for digital art in the world. Driven by a wish for innovation and often active in interdisciplinary collaborations, the award winners give an overview of developments in their work and shine a light on which social dynamics and topics are currently relevant. 22 projects from the categories of: Digital Communities, Interactive Art + and Computer Animation are shown in the form of installations or documentaries. The award for Visionary Pioneers of Media Art goes to the network LEONARDO, whose work is shown in the form of an archive.
