In this setup, 10 Physarum Plycephalum, known as slime molds, play the Game of Life. The environment had been designed to monitor and control the Physarum’s activity. At the end of each round, Physarum moves are analyzed and compared to the winners. The onboard artificial intelligence will alter the environment of the losers in order to manipulate and optimize their games.
