This year, the Art Market Initiative Tours once again offer the opportunity to get immersed in the world of the New Media Art Market. Two tours are dedicated to the topics “art” and “technology.” The first tour with artistic orientation tries to capture the abstract and poetic side of the Gallery Spaces, while the second tour sheds light on the technological influences on the media art projects.
Vicente Matallana (ES) from the Beep Electronic Art Collection leads visitors through the rooms in a joint dialogue with Christl Baur (AT), curator of Gallery Spaces. Artistic concepts are discussed as well as the media art historical backgrounds of the exhibited works. The guided tour aims to explore and explain the creative interrelationships in discussions with the experts and amongst all participants.
