hello to the other australian person who's pissed off..
I'm angry as well, but its about the unbeliveably stupid repressive and
ineffective internet censorship laws that just got passed here..

ahh but they are also reallly really smart..and would mutate to other
species, in a sorta science fiction senario.. and yes..this really is
science fiction territory when we are talking alien invasion past the last
boundary of self, when something penetrates our cellular core and uses us
to reproduce itself.

>-Which might have deprived them of the spiritual experience of being ill!
>(actually, this last remark is NOT as sarcastic as many may be tempted to
>think)

having an incurable chronic illness myself , ive found it very
enlightening in more ways that one.. got me in touch with the body which i
was out of touch with..(through some sorta textual wanking no doubt! ) made
me eat differently, take up yoga, investigate domains of knowledge that i
would never have been inthe slightest bit interrested in before. so maybe i
die in 15 years time from my slow virus.. or maybe we live happily ever
after, together, adjusted to each others needs....
a tiny link in the totally of evolution..

illness doesnt really = suffering .. its become so because of morality -the
foucauldian imperative of health if you like, and pain is an interresting
thing which some people see as pleasure and go out of thier way to engage
in sexual practices, scarrification, piercings etc which cause pain.
childbirth im told is incredibly painful but most of the planet keeps on
doing it.. yet simple practices like breathing in certain ways can releive
physical suffereing.

artistic and philosophical suffering are easily aviodable, dr melinda
sez..take a large dose of trash tv, regular junk food, do not engage in
conversations are likely to contain big words, and have a health cure at a
dimly lit gambling establishment.
