In its effort to create a new time, dance does not evoke any memories in people, but rather a hitherto unknown qualitative change. This is my understanding of creating a new time by way of dance. For me, dance is not something that is played back over and over again. It creates a new time. For this reason, the present is so important to me. I believe that one has to dance in the present and that the dance steps and movements should be steps into the future. Do not take this literally and do not think about it. All you have to do is simply relinquish your body, whose qualities are changing, to reality. To me, dance is the movement of the body, which undergoes qualitative changes in the air of reality.
I want to explore more deeply or more consciously, to use a better word, these qualitative changes, the qualitative world and a qualitative dimension; not the first, second, third or fourth dimension, but one that could be called dimension X. I think that this dimension X, which we are still unable to express, exists in our very air (space). It is the way in which we see the world. But we should try to approach this dimension with a sense of reality, without succumbing to fantasy and mysticism.
In my view, this is not a dubious story, but the present which, on the one hand consists of things, sound.and the human body and., on the other hand., of air, which can be seen as reality surrounding and permeating these elements or as a transparent phenomenon extending beyond the temporal dimension.
The physics of dance. Physics is a mathematical field for researchers. I am not an expert in this field, but thinking about dance, I realize that, leaving matters of the mind aside, the fundamental questions as to the substance of man, the ability to stand and walk, the emotions bringing about movements, the "air" in which the body exists, the things we want to do and how … are all of a physical nature. But when I say physics of dance, my understanding of "physical" is not one of an inorganic world, but of a world that includes the dimension of the mind.
