Chirping and Silence

This is a piece for sound creatures and audience. The sound creatures are little electronic devices. They listen. Some sounds they like, others they dislike. Each sound creature reacts in a simple way to what it hears. There is no leader. The whole group of them gives rise to complex sound patterns. The audience is human. One might say that the human listeners will meet a group of rather shy creatures, and the atmosphere might resemble that of a tropical night. The piece is about listening.
