New Age – New Images – Commissioned Works

In the framework of COMPUTER CULTURE DAYS LINZ and under the general topic "New Age–New Images" twelve international video and computer artists received work commissions. The choice of the artists was ruled by the attempt to find a greatest possible variety and thus to illustrate, if possible, the whole spectrum of tendencies in contemporary video and computer art. The following text by Fritjof Capra, physicist and philosopher, constitutes the basis for the artistic treatment of the given topic.
