Building on Hans Hoffer’s exhibition concept developed on the basis of Futurelab staff member Andreas Jalsovec’s VR model, the Ars Electronica Futurelab produced five videos for the exhibit “The City in the Middle Ages.”
Via the medium of video, the individual works—“Rich and Poor,” “The Eye of Merlin,” “Dancing Lances,” “Tonarmee” and “Unicorn”—convey content derived from history and fables, and thereby open up fresh approaches to the worldview of past epochs.
