Ars Electronica: Recap of an Outstanding Year
2006 was notable for a whole series of successful events and projects staged in Linz and at important venues worldwide.
The Ars Electronica Center attracted 74,199 visitors on its way to setting a new attendance record. And submissions to the Prix Ars Electronica hit a new high as well: 3,177 entries from 71 countries. Last but not least, the Ars Electronica Futurelab produced a series of fascinating events and brought some prestigious joint ventures to fruition.
