dynamic (in)position - Ars Electronica at the Festival de México 2010 in Mexiko City
(Linz, March 18, 2010) Ars Electronica is present at two of Festival de Mexico’s prime venues: the Laboratorio Arte Alameda, a former church that now provides an extraordinary setting for digital art, and the recently renovated Centro Cultural de España.
Ars Electronica’s “dynamic (in)position” exhibition contrasts current trends in digital art with selected works from its extensive archive. The show runs from March 17 to May 11, 2010, and is thus Ars Electronica’s longest engagement ever in Latin America. Major roles in making this happen were played by the Austrian Cultural Forum in Mexico and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber’s “go international” initiative.
