Yes dear Birgit Richard, not sending messages but following the list.=0D
A few things: =0D
To Birgit: One of the problems with dealings with genetic science it's not r=
ecognizing anymore the enormous influence of social influence on human being=
s.=0D
Beeing the "genders" an almost completely social construction in don't thin=
k this mice/good husband by genes is much believable brought in human societ=
y. =0D
Any TV TALK SHOW can change human behaviour much faster than genetic science=
. And deeper.  =0D
To Lubica:=0D
When you say "are scientists willing to work on problems related to women...=
". It is up to women as well. A woman of 55 has just given birth to a child =
by artificial insemination. Light "scandal" on the newspaper. But very ligh=
t, differently from the woman that Birgit was talking about and did the sam=
e two years ago. If women act they can change.Differently from genetic you c=
an change social mind by acting.=0D
to Eugene:.=0D
If scientists are working on culturally conservative ideas about genders how =
can they affect the result of their work? =0D
 To ALL:=0D
Two problems:=0D
1) Art is a "weird" science, but just take a look at Marcel Duchamp "Etant d=
onn=E8" about gender and De Chirico methaphisic paintingsabout artificial be=
eings.=0D
When do we switch to the possible esthetic applications of our ethic struggl=
es on genetic science?=0D
2) I find more and more unsatisfyng the medium of the mailing list the way i=
t is now. Not this particular list but all.=0D
I propose that we try to build for the next year's discussion on Linz a mult=
icast-streaming-videoconferencing to have better results in exchanging ideas=
. Exchange ideas at distance is a precious moment of thought. But now it has =
to be renewed.=0D
Ciao =0D
Lorenzo Taiuti  =0D
I =0D
