Matarisama Dolls Masahiro Miwa (JP) Noriaki Ogasawara (JP) Art & Tek Institute 06.09. to 11.09. from 10:00 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Reverse simulation is what Masahiro Miwa calls his working method, whereby musicians learn, rehearse and play compositional structures developed by computer. In addition, customized mechanical devices are used to perform the music. This installation is an allusion to Matarisama, an ancient Japanese art form in which unmarried men and women annually perform a ceremony with bells and castanets.
