raum.art takes up the question of finding an architecture that lives up to the demands of digital art. The answer lies in the ephemeral presence of the architecture itself. Without the external parameters of the extended environment, the architecture can be reduced to its pure spatiality.
A. Benjamin Spaeth (D) was born in 1973; after vocational training in carpentry, he studied architecture and urban planning at the University of Stuttgart and the École d’architecture in Paris; lectureship at the Institute for Representation and Design; in 2002, he founded gedanken¦gebaeude, a source of virtual environments, architectural concepts and multimedia architectural representations.  back
