In search of elves: by means of a sensor that fits on the tip of a finger, cores drilled as much as two meters deep into the earth are scanned for minute structures and subtle changes. A highly imaginative project dealing with the mysterious question of what is to be found underground below Linz.
Agnes Meyer-Brandis (D), born 1973, attendes summer academy Salzburg (T. Munzlinger) in 1992, worked in Vienna for six months and studied sculpture at the art academy Maastricht, Netherlands and at the art academy Düsseldorf. She earned her bachelor of art degree in 2000 and since then attends the postgraduated art academy for new Media (KHM) in Cologne, where she is supposed to finish her Master of Media Art degree in Summer 2003. back |
