instant city, ein elektronischer musik bau spiel automat is a music building game table.
One or more players at a table can create architecture using semi-transparent building blocks and in the process make different modular compositions audible.
Every performance is unique because the sequence, timing and combination possibilities are completely in the hands of the players!
For each game one composition is chosen.

Sibylle Hauert (CH), born 1966, lives and works in Basel. She studied at the Scuola Teatro Dimitri in Verscio. She is a freelance actress, musician and performing artist. Member of the Performance and Musicians group Les Reines Prochaines, member of the Audio- und Videogenossenschaft, VIA, Basel and of the Verein für Kunst und digitale Medien. Classes in recording, interactive systems, max/msp programming at the Musikhochschule Basel. Foundation of the performance group “Any Affair” in 1999 together with Daniel Reichmuth.

Daniel Reichmuth (CH). Born 1964 lives and works in Basel. Studies at “Scuola Teatro Dimitri” in Verscio. Actor, musician and performing artist. Member of “Werkraum Schlotterbeck” and co-founder of “Werkraum Warteck pp” in Basel, and “the Lodge”. Member of the theater group “Theater KLARA”, classes in recording, interactive systems, max/msp programming at the Electronic Studio, Musikhochschule Basel.
