25 intelligent cubes program a musical sequence, whereby the music appears as a dynamic structure that comes about as the result of an interactive process. By experimenting and playing with the physical arrangement of the cubes, the user can create, modify and orchestrate musical phrases and sequences.
Ryota Kuwakubo (J) graduated from the Master's Program in Art and Design, Tsukuba University/M.A, (1996) and Art and labo course of IAMAS (2002). He is specialized in toy or product developing. Henry Newton-Dunn (GB), is an associate design researcher for Sony Computer Science Laboratories Interaction Lab, where he specializes in interactive music. He is also an active member of the Creative Development Group at Sony Corporation. back |
