What happens when air currents with different temperatures collide with one another? You experience this phenomenon daily in the form of changes in the weather. Now, Ene-geometrix lets you experiment with it yourself.
Peltier Modules arrayed on a grid warm or cool a fluid inside the installation. The visitor can use a tracking ball to influence these temperature changes. As long as a temperature equilibrium situation exists between the fluid and its surroundings, a stable linear pattern is visible. As soon as the temperatures diverge, though, the pattern is obliterated by currents.
