Peter J. Bentley (GB) is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, University College London (UCL). His research investigates evolutionary algorithms, ecological modelling, artificial immune systems, computational embryology and swarming systems, applied to diverse applications including design, control, fraud detection, security, and music composition. He is editor of the books "Evolutionary Design by Computers" and "Creative Evolutionary Systems", and author of the popular science book "Digital Biology". Specialities include media archaeology and the history of media art. Member of media festival organizing committees and juries. Friedrich Kittler (D) is one of Germany's leading media theorists.
