During the first part of the evening, artists will present live performances of their VR and game applications. Viewers follow the settings of the opera’s scenes in a totally innovative way. The visualization of the opera “Das Rheingold” is performed by Linuxbased software developed at the Ars Electronica Futurelab. This makes it possible to compute all the projections from various different angles and to present synchronized stereoscopic images on five large-format screens.
