Again in 2004, the Ars Electronica Futurelab’s symposium provides a platform for the presentation of and reflection upon R&D projects. Media artists together with representatives of art and media labs around the world will look into the extent to which artistic strategies can be a source of creative impetus for fields beyond the purview of art when it comes to the development of new interaction concepts and the utilization of new technologies.

With: Steve Clark (UK), Horst Hörtner (A), Michael Naimark (USA), John Gerrard (IRL), Masaki Fujihata (J), Nicoletta Blacher (A), Ramia Mazé (S), Myron Krueger (USA), Michael Rakowitz (USA), Peter Higgins (UK)
Moderator: Helmut Höllerl (A)
