A dance performance as interaction between dancer and software. Movements are captured, manipulated using Isadora software, and projected.
This results in direct interplay between the actual dancing figure and the projected one. The dancer wears a so-called MidiDancer, a costume outfitted with sensors, which allows the musical score to be controlled by the form and speed of motion of the dancer’s limbs.
