ARS ELECTRONICA
Animation Festival
The Prix Ars Electronica’s Computer Animation / Film / VFX category attracteda total of 556 submissions from 62 countries this year. These works represent the entire spectrum of contemporary computer animation, which makes it correspondingly difficult to come up with a common denominator with respect to technology, design or content. These works include impressive special effects, hilarious cartoons, poetic narratives, dynamic music videos, science fiction, manga style, anime, surprising points of view, strange worldsand much, much more. The 2008 Ars Electronica Animation Festival will be screened simultaneously to its audiences in Linz and, simultaneously, at the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna.

Ars Electronica Center - Museum der Zukunft
