During the festival 2007 Ars Electronica invited everyone in Linz to take part in a group portrait, and hundreds Linzers responded by sending messages directly back via the heavens – on banners, “creatively” mowed lawns and other works of art!

Schwimmbad, Holmes Place
An image projected onto the ceiling reacts to the swimmers in the water via camera tracking. The visualization changes depending on their movements, and a musical tapestry is woven through an underwater loudspeaker.

This undertaking will target first and foremost the aspect of brand value and imitation. What this campaign will be destroying are knock-offs of brand-name merchandise, although the real value of an original apparently no longer bears even the slightest relation to the value that the brand claims for that item.
