fair music, eine Initiative von mica – music austria, engagiert sich für künstlerische Freiheit, gerechte Bezahlung und Gewinnbeteiligung für Musikschaffende, sowie Chancengleichheit für kleine Labels und Produzent/Innen weltweit und speziell für Musiker/Innen aus den Ländern des globalen Südens.
Um diese Ziele zu erreichen, entwickelt die Initiative gemeinsam mit dem Internationalen Musikrat (IMC) sowie NGO´s aus Musik und Kultur Standards und einen Code of Conduct für die Zertifizierung von fair produzierter und vermarkteter Musik.

fair music is engaged in the fostering of artistic freedom, fair payment and profit share for creative musicians, and equal opportunity for small labels and producers worldwide, especially for musicians from the countries of the global south.
To reach this aims, the fair music initiative together with the International Music Council (IMC) and ONG´s from the music sector develops Standards and a Code of Conduct for the certification of fair produced and promoted music.
