NewGlobalVision (NGV) is Italy’s first freely accessible video archive, a visual encyclopedia organized according to content and author. This open archive is an important provider for “Telestreet,” Italy’s independent television network. A local producer can make his/her work available globally via NGV and, conversely, download films and information from the network for broadcast to the local outlet’s audience.
