Prix Ars Electronica
The 21st edition of the Prix Ars Electronica features some notable innovations. The aim: to keep the Prix in sync with current developments in the dynamic field of cyberarts. The impressive response: 3,374 entries from63 countries.
Eight juries composed of internationally renowned experts convened to select the winners of six Golden Nicas, 14 Awards of Distinction and 74 Honorary Mentions, as well as the recipients of [the next idea] Art and Technology Grant and the Media.Art.Research Award. These honors alongwith prize money totaling 122,500 euros will be presented to the winners at the Ars Electronica Gala.
