SHO(U)T

Based on the ability to recognize feelings, SHO(U)T reacts to the emotional content of messages conveyed to it by installation visitors.

The machine analyzes and decodes visitor-generated information and sends back, via an on-screen avatar, a variety of different scenarios created in advance by the artist. Three elements each play a role as protagonist/interpreter in this drama: the filmed figure on screen, the observer and the machine.
