2019 | evolution

2009 | Popularity of Physical Video Games (PVGs) Reducing Childhood Obesity

The rise of Phyical Video Games (PVGs) has dramatically reduced childhood obesity. These new PVGs require the players to perform physical activity such as pedaling while they play the video game. Certain games reward players extra for the most pedaling. Other games just require pedaling to keep the game going.

World-wide competitions take place on the web where video gamers/atheletes compete in virtual race tracks. The games require both physical endurance and video game skill to make it through the virtual course. These competitions and their support by famous atheletes have helped to make PVGs a hit with kids in the last year.

Parents are pleased to see the connection of physical activity with video games. Doctors credit this fad to a significant reduction in childhood obesity and diabetes.

2029+ | Machines will "grow" with us

In 25 years there will be machines which will be connected to our brains directly and will be "formed" in the growth-process of the concrete brain itself - maybe another way to generate a "true" (personal) artificial intelligence. Probably this process will have to be controlled by complex machines from the outside because of the risks.

2029+ | Cable companies will see you through your TV.

Similar to reversing the audio signal to listen to you through your TV, cable companies will reverse engineer the video signal through your screen allowing them to actually SEE you and your response to the shows/commercials you are watching. Nielsen’s current ratings system will go the way of Sony's Betamax, paving the way for productions, precisely and individually tailored to each and every viewer.

2009 | UK government bans technology

The UK government severely limits the implementation of a new wireless data and communications technology on the grounds of public health, having failed to address 'public concerns', and on the basis that the precautionary principle dictates the safety of new technologies much be proven.

2010 | Cable companies will listen to you through your TV.

The TV is comprised mainly of two sensory related technologies, specifically sound and sight. One is audio (sound) the other is video (sight). The microphone uses a membrane to detect sound vibrations from our voice and converts it to an electrical signal and is sent through the cable lines; then the speaker also uses a membrane to convert the electrical signal back to sound which we hear. Because of this, a microphone can be used as a speaker and a speaker can be used as a microphone. With the use of their addressable digital cable boxes, cable companies will pinpoint your TV and its speaker!
It will be used as a marketing tool, by the cable company, to determine the "best programming for you" based on your positive/negative verbal outbursts and by politicians to best target their campaign money.

2029+ | Genonemicron

Intense biospheric exposure to GMO's cause mutations in all organic things, triggering an evolutionary bonanza which is hard to predict and impossible to insulate against. Meanwhile, megacorporations will finally have done away with voting and governments alltogether as the ultra-rich of the world engage in a vicious purge of the super-rich and take ultimate control over society by claiming ownership to all DNA forms. People must apply for birth licenses, must pay yearly royalties on the "intellectual property" inherent in their children's Gene's, and the highest value contraband will be in "prohibited genetic material." Whole "contraband species" will be banned, especially those displaying abnormal evolutionary endowments. Genetic ID scans will be everywhere as the Ultra-Elite guard their power with incredible paranoia from the threat of ultra-evolved contraband specimens whom are able to consciously change their cell structure at will. The poorest Humans will be engineered to look like and process human waste.

2011 | Microsoft filed for bankrupcy

Microsoft had to file for bankrupcy as the company was incapable of recuperating after the desastrous introduction of Microsoft ShortTail.
Bill Gates, head of the once mighty software foundry, resigned only minutes before the official declaration of bankrupcy. In an immediate reaction,
authorities froze the private accounts of Bill Gates as well, as he will be held liable with all his assets for the massive losses.

Microsoft was unable to resolve the most burning secuirty issues in its most recent operating system release thus loosing millions of enterprise and private customers to its toughest opponents in the OS-market, MacOS XII and Linux.

2017 | mobile phone 7 tracking ID system embedded in bodies at birth

Biotech and wetware will evolve alongside mobile technologies, our desire for perpetual contact and parental fear for child safety. Chip type devices will be grafted in to wrist and thumb bones. Dialup obviously voice activated with special settings for prelinguistic communication between parents and babies. Later, thouse left wing parents who fought the trend will be found guilty of irresponsible parenting. Those of us who grew up with land lines will feel threatened but the mobile generation will revel in easy perpetual access to one another and develop thumb stroke as opposed to keystroke comms
