2012 | Just get some more social

"hm", the Think Tanks of the USA thought, "Isn't it curious, that our Drug-Laws are based on some conference 60 years ago? Shouldn't we do something now and discuss that now?"
And so it came, that finally the USA gave the revolutionary impulse for the new drug situation: They agreed that naturall substances like ### are much more harmless than alcohol (what is actually a fact) and set up some new laws. Prohibition isn't the right way they gotta see, so liberalization or even legalization of ### is the "future". They can cash some money, the rate of criminality will definitily go down, the people will see the world with more objectiv eyes, see that life isn't a straight line. Well, sooner or later that vision of some mind-free world will become true, just look at our open-minded youth...

2012 | Energie

2012 | Internet becomes 3-dimensional

I believe that the internet moves into a new direktion. today most websites consist of text and graphics. In future you will visit your city hall for example in that kind like today you move through the levels of a computergame. You can ask virtual persons and searching for special rooms.
Everbody creates his own virtual home and his friends(also some hackers) kann visit it.
a problem could be, that everbody presents himself only from the best side. people without a virtual home no longer belong to the modern society

2012 | Blue states declare victory

Since the civil wars that began in 2005, Blue states will declare victory on June 14, 2012, establishing borders and special reservations for afflicted red state residents as rehabilitation areas. Isolation is agreed upon by both nations as the preferred foreign policy of the Red half, while the Blue half can continue along with the rest of the global community without distraction. Since Florida is too radioactive, it is seperated and sealed off as a waste island, giving Red states only partial coastal access through TX and MI. They are left to their own devices on the praries and eastern slopes of the Rockies, with a large neutral border near Canada, who will be given Montana and the Dakotas as war reparations. Mt. Rushmore (destroyed by a radical right militia group in 2008) will be rebuilt in California.

2012 | Evolution Of Faith

More and more people reconsider their view of faith. Specialy non believing parents who educate their children with a open mind will learn of their children that there's more than a tangible world. Others will see that there is a core of truth present in each known faith. 2012: Bit by bit faith will change in knowledge.

2012 | Bush I's Third Term Ends

Bio-ethicists and constitutional scholars (both incarnate and virtual) debate the protocols involved in the legal fiction of "electing" a "natural-born" citizen of the U.S. who is the clone of President George W. Bush I. The country faces a severe ironic quotation mark shortage.

2012 | do you have the time?

As predicted by Mayan culture and the I Ching, the time space continuum is over come and linear time ceases to exist. With a multidimensional view of time humans thought patterns and perceptions evolve to the next plane, in which sound replaces matter and motion replaces time.

we BECOME music streaming through the universe! ( so there RIAA ! )

2012 | Corporate profits capped

Uncontrolled rise of drug prices and health insurance leads to consumer revolt; Congress votes to permanently cap corporate profits at 20%. Corporations whose net profits exceed 20% in any given year are forced to return excess to customers, starting with pharmaceutical and health insurance companies. Cap spreads to all corporations with 1000 or more employees doing business in the US by 2015. Following a brief period of turmoil, stock markets stabilize as corporate performance becomes more predictable.

2012 | Civilization relinquishes civilian jet travel

Because of rapidly exhausting oil supplies, by this date commercial airlines the world over have permanently grounded their fleets and gone out of business because they can no longer buy jet fuel at any price. Governments have taken control of the remaining trickle of jet fuel still available for their emergency uses.

2012 | Schwarzenegger defeats Cheney

Following 12 years of compassionate conservatism under the Bush and Cheney administrations which have paradoxically left the USA in a social and economic state just left of the 1970's era Soviet Union, beloved California governator Arnold Schwarzenegger becomes the first Independent candidate to win the presidency, defeating Cheney by a landslide. Campaign strategists Wes Boyd and Joan Blades downplayed their role in the victory, mumbling briefly about the grassroots efforts of many citizens and then moving quickly out of range of reporters' cameras.
