Masssabrage is a machine that transfers the idea of opening a bottle of champagne with a saber (a technique called sabrage, which was practiced in the time of Napoleon) to the age of technology and mass production.

With their collaborative performance tool MobileLab, three students at the KHM–Academy of Media Arts Cologne will be conducting a “research performance” that investigates what takes place at the 2008 Ars Electronica Festival in the interactive zone where prediction, coincidence and experience meet.
