Tablescape Plus is an interactive tabletop video theater. Different images are projected onto the respective tiny screens placed upright on the table. As the user moves the screens, the images change. Moreover, users can develop new stories by changing the arrangement of the screens.

Taiknam Hat is a kinetic piece of mobile headwear that reacts to changes in radio wave signals from the surrounding environment.

Ten Thousand Cents »

Brucknerhaus

Ten Thousand Cents is a digital artwork that creates a representation of a $100 bill. Using a custom drawing tool, thousands of individuals working in isolation from one another painted a tiny part of the bill without knowledge of the overall task. Workers were paid one cent each via Amazon's Mechanical Turk distributed labor tool.

What is and how does interaction really look like? The concept of spatial orientation is based on the spatial planes and axes and on the directions that we see as left, right, etc. The perception of a blind person meanwhile brings up the synthesis of distal and proximal perception. The link becomes especially significant when the blind person navigates with something as distant as a satellite – or something navigates him (?).

The Replenishing Body »

The Replenishing Body, an interactive video installation, consists of a grid of squares (5x5) which can each record a one-second loop of film. The grid starts empty at the beginning of the installation and becomes a constantly changing collaborative artwork.
