Radio FRO Mediadays: “Open networks shaping society? Future in progress!” is the title of the 2008 Radio FRO media conference being staged in conjunction with the Ars Electronica Festival on September 6-7 at two locations. The focus will be on open and free, technical and social networks.

Almost as complex as a traditional music instrument, the reactable has a tangible, visually compelling and intuitive user interface, which makes music visible and almost graspable. It is based on a luminous round table and can be played simultaneously by several performers

Robot Rabbit »

Robot Rabbit is an automatic installation that opposes the inflexible rhythm of the machine to the biological growth of the live grass. Modified toy rabbit stands on a mini-patch of real live grass. The rabbit repeats continuously the words 'robot, rabbit' at a rate of 1 word/second. A mechanical counter is incremented at each word. The growing grass is automatically watered by an electric pump when the humidity level gets low.
