Kinisi is a new beauty technology designed to use FX materials, LEDs and microcontrollers to transform skin into a beauty interface. The slightest movements of the facial muscles trigger various light patterns made by the LEDs affixed to the subject’s skin and hair.
This project was awarded an Honorary Mention at this year’s Prix Ars Electronica [the next idea] voestalpine art and technology grant, a program within the framework of the Ars Electronica residency network.
